Judges from across the state engage in a dynamic discussion of the procedural status of the courts and adjustments being made in order to address peculiar problems presented by the pandemic. The discussion includes helpful tips and guidelines for addressing trials, motions and judicial filings, and provides information on where civil jury trials are occurring throughout the state, or when civil jury trials will restart. The panel also covers different actions being taken to mitigate courtroom bias, including jury selection, trial presentation, and ways to minimize the impact of masks being worn by parties, witnesses, jurors, counsel and the trial judge.
