COVID-19, Wage & Hour
The speakers will cover health and safety issues in the era of COVID. Many wage and hour litigators are getting intakes from workers with concerns about exposure to COVID in the workplace, and how to protect themselves from employer abuses. The tools we use in wage and hour enforcement are relevant here, and many of the protections – though not all – are found in the Labor Code. Our experienced panelists will talk about new case filings and court decisions, regulations, and legislation in this important and growing area of practice.
This webinar is one in a series of CELA's 17th Annual Advanced Wage & Hour seminar. The advanced wage & hour webinars are exclusively for attorneys representing workers. Admission requirements apply to CELA Associate members and Non-Members. (Full-time attorney mediators/arbitrators, law school professors, and law students excluded). Associate members and Non-Members must certify that they have no more than one case on behalf of an employer.
This webinar is intermediate to advanced level programming.Expand summary
