How common is hacking against law firms?
A recent ABA survey found one in five law firms were hacked in 2017 – that’s 20 percent. There are good and bad details in such statistics. The good: the ABA research shows only 1 percent resulted in unauthorized access to sensitive client data. The bad: a 2016 survey found a large number of firms experienced data breaches and did not even know about them, so the numbers could be much higher in actuality.
How can you protect your firm, your clients, and your cases?
Our speakers will discuss data breaches, ransomware, regulatory proceedings, cyber liability and breach solutions. Plus, you’ll hear from CELA member Laura Horton about her experience with a ransomware event a few years ago.
CELA is a State Bar of California approved MCLE provider, #2292
