Summary

CELA’s Barristers Committee invites you to attend a Trial Story Hour discussion with CELA members Rob Hennig and Helen You of Hennig Kramer Ruiz & Singh, LLP.  Rob and Helen will be discussing their recent victory in the first phase of a trifurcated trial against GT's Living Foods, LLC (previously Millennium Products, Inc.) one of the largest producers of kombucha in the country. Having prevailed at a bench trial on a claim under California Business & Professions Code section 17200 derived from numerous Labor Code violations, they will share what they have learned, challenges and successes, and the implications of litigating consolidated and concurrent complex actions against the same employer. They will also touch on how the findings of fact may influence the two remaining phases of trial, which will address the Plaintiffs' individual and representative causes of action.
