Summary

Eric Jones gave his life to Los Angeles Unified School District for 23 years. As a security guard, he protected the students. But there was nobody there to protect him when he was ordered to shave with a razor despite clear medical restrictions for a chronic skin condition common to black men. What happened next unfolded over the course of three years and culminated in an act of retaliation that ended his career. Learn how a deeply divided jury awarded Eric Jones $3 million despite losing on three of four causes of action, and how Jared flipped the court on rulings that nearly jeopardized the verdict.
